He and his parents lived in the house at 45 Szepességi Street, from where they were deported to the ghetto in Debrecen in May 1944. In mid-June 1944, they were sent to the collection camp in the Debrecen brick factory, then at the end of June 1944 the family was deported to KL Auschwitz-Birkenau. Peter was killed in a gas chamber shortly after his arrival.
