Újpest, 1935 – Auschwitz-Birkenau, 11 July 1944
Goldschmied Zsuzsa and her younger sister, Erika, were transported from the Újpest ghetto to the Budakalász brick factory at the beginning of July. A couple of days later they were deported by the Hungarian authorities. The Nazis murdered them with their mother, Anna Kálmán upon arrival in Auschwizt-Birkenau. Erika was five.
