László Katz and his family was transported from Hajdúdorog to the collection camp set up in the Serly brick factory, Debrecen. Between June 25-29, they were deported to Auschwitz by the Hungarian authorities.  The seven-year-old boy was gassed together with his younger sister, Vera.
