Budapest, 27 May 1927 – KL Stutthof, 1944-1945?
At the age of 17 Gizella was taken from Kiskunhalas to the brick factory in Szeged. On 25 June 1944, she was deported from here to Auschwitz-Birkenau. She survived the selection together with her sister, Maria Gömöri. On 14 August 1944, the sisters arrived at the Stutthof concentration camp on a transport of 2,800 prisoners, where Gizella was assigned prisoner number 64575. Her sister Mária died in a subcamp in the area in December 1944. Gizella’s fate is unknown.
