Szerednye (Seredne), 1943 – Szerednye (Seredne), 1943
Salamon lived with his family in Szerednye (Seredne), Subcarpathia. In April 1944, the members of the local Jewish community were rounded up in the school building and deported to the collection camp at the Moskovits brick factory in Ungvár (Uzhhorod). From there, the Jews of Serednye were deported with the second transport. Most probably they arrived at Auschwitz-Birkenau on May 24th or 25th, where the vast majority of them were murdered. Salamon was killed with her mother in one of the gas chambers.
