Edit and her family lived in Debrecen. Here they were sent to the ghetto on Hatvan Street and then to the collection camp in the Debrecenbrick factory. At the end of June 1944, they were deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau.On 14 August 1944, Edith was dragged offin a prisoner transport to theconcentration camp at Stutthof, where she presumably died in the autumn of 1944.
